Sunnyfields Primary School - Achieve 100 Feedback

How do you use the Achieve 100 revision and practice books with your children?
We use the Achieve Reading revision and practice questions books for guided reading to practice their comprehension skills. We use the Maths revision range in class with children working through a topic, answering questions with support given where necessary. We use the SPAG revision and practice questions books for homework and in class.

What are the benefits of using the Achieve 100 revision and practice questions books?
With the Achieve reading revision and practice questions books – we are able to focus on a range of skills the children need to develop. The range of texts included enables our children to develop their skills in reading all genres.

With the Achieve Maths range – children like working independently through the questions and they assess themselves so they can measure their own progress. All books help children to prepare for SAT’s.

Do you find the Achieve 100 Teacher's Toolkit useful?
Yes and I use them to plan.

What are the benefits of using Achieve 100 Practice Tests?
The Practice Tests reflect the content we expect to see in the SATs in summer 2016. I use them at the end of a topic for the children to work through but not in test conditions. I started to use them in January. There are a good range of questions.

Does the Achieve 100 range cover everything your Year 6 children will need to know to achieve 100 or above in the National Tests?
Yes from what we have seen so far, the books cover everything the children need to know.

How do you use the Achieve 100 Plus revision and practice questions books with your more able children?
The PLUS range is good for extension work for those children who are working on depth of understanding.

Please provide any other general comments about the Achieve range.
A welcome resource to support the new curriculum.
