We have several book band schemes in school and without question, it is the Reading Planet books that the children look out for time and time again. Whether it be emerging or reluctant readers, we are finding the length is pitched perfectly, the supporting comprehension questions are useful for staff as well as teachers and the whole approach is making our children more excited and interested in reading. Which, at the end of the day, is the best thing you could ask from a reading scheme.
