Firstly, you will need to set up a My Rising Stars account, here. Be sure to register as a teacher against your school name to ensure access to all the digital products your school has trialled or purchased. Once you have created your account, log in to My Rising Stars here, where you will see the Reading Planet Online Library icon. 

You can access the Online Library on a desktop, laptop and a tablet using the latest version of Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. To use the Online Library on IOS, we recommend you use Safari and in Android, we recommend Chrome. Please note that the quizzes do not work on a mobile. 

Before pupils can access a resource, you will need to set them up with an account. They do not need an email address and you can choose the username and password for each child. Find further details about pupil set-up here.

Once you have set up your pupils, you can find their log in details in the Admin Hub of the Online Library under the Pupils tab. You can download log in details for all pupils at once by using the 'export CSV' option.

Your school centre ID can be found in the top right-hand side of the resource once you are logged in.
 

Pupils do not automatically get access to eBooks in the library and we are unable to do it also. You will need to allocate eBooks for pupils to access at home via the Admin Hub (located top right when you first log in to the Library). You can either give pupils access to the entire eBook library (by pressing the SHOW button) or you can allocate specific eBooks (by pressing the ASSIGN button). Yes! A subscription provides access for all staff in your school. To access the resource, each person needs to register for a free My Rising Stars account here. Once they have registered, they will be able to see all digital resources purchased by the school on their My Rising Stars dashboard.
