This activity uses an extract from If by Rudyard Kipling to offer stretch and challenge to children in their comprehension, writing composition spoken language and higher thinking skills.
By approaching the text from a variety of angles, children are able to gauge a deeper understanding of it and broaden their skills of comprehension, inference and analysis.
The resource has been designed to be flexible. Different activities can be selected for different purposes. And it could be used with a whole class or a small group.
