Grace Kleanthous
Grace has been teaching in primary schools for 6 years. Becoming Phonics and Early Reading Leader and Key Stage One Coordinator after her second year in teaching, she quickly developed a true passion for early reading and Systematic Synthetic Phonics. Grace enjoys delivering high-quality, interactive Phonics training to develop Phonics provision within primary schools to support the reading needs of every child. Accomplishing a Masters in Education degree, Grace’s in-depth research record and experience as a teacher and trainer, allows her to combine her thorough subject-knowledge with understanding the practicalities (and sometimes unpredictability!) of everyday school life, instilling confidence in everyone that she supports.
Emma Spiers
Emma is an Early Learning consultant, trainer and author, specialising in all things Communication, Language and Literacy. With over 20 Years of experience working in school leadership, school improvement as an Early Years Ofsted Inspector, her impact on achieving the very best outcomes for all children has been far reaching. Known as 'The Learning Lady', Emma has supported hundreds of schools and early years settings across the UK, and internationally through her trademark inspirational, hands-on and down to earth approach.
Julie Sargent
Julie is an established English Consultant with an extensive knowledge of the curriculum, assessment and effective learning and teaching approaches. She has designed and developed many professional development programmes and training materials to support school in English. Angela Jenkins
Angela is an education consultant, trainer and author specialising in English curriculum and pedagogy. She works across the primary and secondary phases, supporting schools to enhance their provision so learners are inspired, engaged and achieve well. Follow Angela on Twitter @MuchAdoALJ.
Clare Bristow
Clare is passionate about nurturing the reader in every child. As an experienced Early Years specialist, she has high expectations for young children and a strong belief in what every child is able to achieve through a mixture of high-quality phonics teaching, the sharing of beautiful books and a challenging, child-led curriculum.
Formerly an Advanced Skills Teacher and Lead Practitioner specialising in Early Literacy, Clare worked as an Assistant Headteacher in a large infant school before becoming an independent consultant.
