Michael Tidd
Michael Tidd is deputy headteacher at Edgewood Primary School in Nottinghamshire. Having trained as a middle-years teacher, he has previously taught in middle and primary schools in Sussex, including roles as a subject leader and Head of Year. Michael‘s area of expertise is in curriculum and assessment in primary schools. He has been influential in supporting schools and authorities to roll out the new Primary Curriculum in 2014. As well as frequently writing for the Rising Stars blog, Michael currently writes a regular column for Teach Primary magazine.

Over the years Miles has contributed to a number of computing related projects including: the national curriculum computing programmes of study, the CAS / Naace guide to the computing curriculum for primary teachers, training of CAS Master Teachers, Rising StarsSwitched on Computing, an e-book on computer science for Microsoft Education, Barefoot Computing, Code Club Pro‘s training materials,BBC Bitesize primary computing resources and QuickStart Computing for the BCS and Microsoft.
Claire Lotriet
Claire is a graphic designer turned teacher, who currently teaches Year 5/6 in a south London primary school. Her big passion, both in and out of the classroom, is technology and anything vaguely geeky, which may be why she loves being an ICT coordinator. Currently, Claire also leads maths and enterprise across her school. In recent years the enterprise skills have become a huge part of her pedagogy and now form the basis of how she approaches planning for learning. Dave Smith Dave is the Computing and ICT Adviser and Business Development Lead at Havering School Improvement Services. He provides ICT advice and support to educational establishments, recently working as part of the development team with Rising Stars publishers to create Switched on ICT.
Maddy Barnes
Maddy Barnes is an experienced teacher both in the UK and overseas and is a Specialist Leader of Education in the North West pilot scheme. She is an English SATS marker and a QCDA Single Level Tests Marker. She has also moderated the Level 6 English tests and is an international schools marker. Maddy is a published author and has written the Skills Builders Grammar and Punctuation series for Rising Stars.
Caroline Clissold
Caroline is an experienced primary school teacher, mathematics adviser and trainer. She currently works as a freelance consultant, and her jobs include: NCETM Associate Director (Maths Hubs), delivering INSET and supporting teaching and learning in various schools in London and the south-east of England, and part-time lecturing. Caroline is the author of numerous primary mathematics resources.
