We were absolutely thrilled to receive over 800 amazing entries from schools up and down the country. We were so impressed by the quality of the entries.
After much consideration, the judging panel (including HES and Switched on Computing author Miles Berry), announced Alex from Smawthorne Henry Moore Primary School in Castleford as the winner! They were really impressed with the creative design, attention to detail and the positive e-safety message. As a prize, the poster was recreated by one of our top designers and professionally printed.
One of our designers, Amparo, carefully recreated Alex’s original design.
Here’s the poster, hot off the press at the printers!
Last week, Olivia from the Switched on Computing team popped along to the school to award Alex with a printed version of the winning poster. The school also won a complete set of Learn to Code Practice Books and a £500 Rising Stars voucher.
Congratulations to everyone who entered the competition – why not download the winning poster to display in your school!
