KS2 Science sampling arrangements

On the 27th March 2018, the DfE released updated information about the upcoming KS2 science sampling tests.

Every 2 years, a sample of pupils sit science tests at the end of KS2, in order to gauge the overall performance of the population.  The next science sampling tests will take place in June 2018.

Schools that have been selected to take part will be notified by 23 April 2018.  Selected pupils will then sit the tests between Monday 4th June and Friday 15 June 2018.

Test results will later be reported as national data, and no school or individual pupil will be identified within the data.  A full report summarising all of the outcomes will be published in the summer of 2019.
