Training support for schools in Croydon and Bromley
Exclusive to primary schools in Croyden and Bromley, Stephen Schwartz, e-learning improvement officer can offer support to schools in introducing and embedding Switched on ICT into their curriculum. Support can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual school and is available in two support packages.
2 half days
Stephen will help schools to map their curriculum, guide their strategic rollout and offer whole school inset training to support the introduction of Switched on ICT.
4 half days
Stephen will help schools to map their curriculum, guide their strategic rollout and offer whole school inset training to support the introduction of Switched on ICT. In addition he will support paired teaching, lesson observations and help staff get started with assessment and moderation of Switched on ICT units.

About Stephen Schwartz
Stephen Schwartz is the school improvement officer for ICT for the London Borough of Croydon. Croydon is the largest LA in London with 89 primary and 22 secondary settings. Stephen's role is underpinned by providing vision and leadership for schools in their use of new technologies in order to raise standards in teaching and learning. This involves working closely with nursery, primary, secondary, PRU and special school leadership teams and governing bodies in the creation and implementation of sustainable and aspirational development plans which mirror the needs and ethos of the schools. Stephen has supported a number of schools in Croydon to successfully implement and embed Rising Stars' Switched on ICT scheme of work.
Prior to working for Croydon, Stephen was a curriculum consultant for the London Grid for Learning for four years and taught in primary schools for eight.
Stephen is an Ofsted inspector, an accredited ICT mark assessor and holds the NPQH. Stephen has a current enhanced CRB check.
