Weedon Bec Primary School gets Switched On

When Ofsted visited our school in November 2010 they identified ICT as an area for development, both the infrastructure and our Curriculum.  We had already identified this as an area for development on our School Development Plan.

Fast forward 12 months and we have gone from having 15 computers to 180 children to 56 computers, 6 iPads, iPod touches and numerous digital cameras.  The glue that binds together all of these components is Switched on ICT.  Without the ideas, plans and units from Switched On none of this would make any sense to the staff, or the children.  Both staff and children have taken to the new units amazingly and our new ICT suite is always buzzing.
