Hardware:  Programmable toy, such as a Bee-Bot, Constructa-Bot or Pixie

Outcome:    A Scratch file with scripting blocks programming a sprite to move

Are the children in your class fascinated by the thought of travelling into space? Would they like to become astronauts? In this unit, the children will build on work from Unit 1.2 – We are treasure hunters to programme a space shuttle to move around the screen. This unit acts as a springboard for programming using Scratch in Year 3.
