Twitter takeover! #ASKMBERRY

Join Miles Berry for a live Q&A on the new computing curriculum

To celebrate the Hour of Code initiative running this week, primary computing expert Miles Berry will be taking over the Switched on Computing Twitter account for a live Q&A session on the new computing curriculum. So if you have a question, don't miss your chance to #ASKMBERRY!

When? Thursday 10th December, 8pm (UK time)

Where? On Twitter! Make sure you're following @switchedoncomp to follow the conversation.

How to join in? You can submit your questions ahead of Thursday's Q&A by emailing the Switched on Computing team or tweeting us using #askmberry. You can also tweet us during the Q&A with your questions!

Questions we've had in so far include:

  • Any thoughts on teaching Python in Yr5/Yr6?
  • I am finding it hard to get the balance right between CS, IT and DL, any advice?

  • Staff in my school are struggling with the subject knowledge, what should I start with that will have the most impact?

  • We have to focus on English and maths, can I teach cross curricular?
