About the product

Lifelines

"What an amazing resource!"    Janice Knowles, Shawclough Community School.

The ideal way to tackle cross-curricular topics with activities for whiteboard, for talking, writing, ict and creative skills.

Topics include World War Two, Rain forests, Victorians, Habitats and lots more.

Lifelines is an innovative resource that uses filmic devices to stimulate writing at Key Stages 2 and 3. Designed to view on the interactive whiteboard, PC or Mac, it presents filmic shorts that blend audio, video and imagery to create nine engaging stories from children's perspectives.

How to use Lifelines
Step 1:
Use as an attention-grabbing hook to immediately engage pupils as they enter the classroom and settle.

Step 2: Play the whole story through, or alternatively view screen-by-screen, stopping between them for discussion.

Step 3: Invite a wider range of responses using prompts in the teacher's support notes for speaking, drama, reading and writing.

Step 4: Encourage further research and use the pictures and sounds to encourage students to create their own versions on screen.
