The Challenge Card packs provide teachers with an engaging and stimulating resource with ready-to-go planning guidance! Use the Challenge Cards for short focused activities or as a stimulus for extended work. Ideal for use in small groups with a TA or in larger guided talk sessions.

• 30 high-quality, laminated, A4 cards
These feature a dramatic photo, engaging image or thought-provoking text which acts as a stimulus for discussion. On the back of each card is a series of questions which offer clearly targeted prompts to ensure that the best possible questions are asked.
• A 64-page Teacher’s Book
The clear and easy-to-use Teacher’s Books provide step-by-step lesson notes around each stimulus. The notes support teachers in extending the questions on each card and map the opportunities onto specific literacy objectives, thought processes, aspects of learning and cross-curricular topics. Assessment opportunities are suggested along with extension ideas and challenges for all.
• A networkable CD-ROM
This allows the stimuli to be projected onto the whiteboard or shown on a PC.
All delivered in a sturdy box which can be used to hold the cards for classroom use.
