Rising Stars are delighted to announce that the following products have been shortlisted for the 2012 ERA Awards. The winners will be announced at a gala event to be held at the National Mororcyle Museum in Birmingham on the second evening of The Education Show 2012.
Dockside has been shortlisted in both the Best Special Education Resource - non ICT and the Best Secondary Resource - non ICT categories.
The Dockside reading scheme has been specifically created to offer older learners a second chance at mastering the basics of reading. Combining a 'real' reading experience with age-appropriate storylines, illustrations and language, Dockside does not patronise, but engages learners so that they can move from little or no letter recognition through to National Curriculum Level 3.

Switched on ICT has been shortlisted in the Educational Book Award category.
Switched on ICT is an innovative and creative new scheme which will enable all teachers, regardless of confidence and experience, to really put ICT at the heart of their teaching. Why is Switched on ICT different? Because is brings exciting technologies that are freely available to schools into the primary curriculum.
