We know how important it is that the National Curriculum levels generated by such tests are accurate and reliable. We have a rigorous publishing process to ensure our assessments provide evidence of attainment and pupil progression. Rising Stars Assessment will help every class progress term by term.
How it works
- We use an expert panel of practising teachers and senior advisers to devise and write all our assessment papers
- We have a large team of trial schools who test our questions with their pupils in the classroom, we then use these results to standardise our NC levels
- Then when our trial schools take the national tests at the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and the option tests, they also sit the Rising Stars Assessment tests and then the marks from the 2 are compared. We do this for every year group and every subject.
